Mel needs more love.
She actually did almost exist. Instead of the co-op bots ATLAS and P-Body, the co-op mode was supposed to include Chell and another test subject named Mel. This was later scrapped and turned into the co-op bots that we all know and love. But after hearing this, I took interest in poor little Mel. I drew her in the corner of a test chamber sitting all by herself, as if forgotten by everyone and abandoned by GLaDOS.

Why yes, I am obsessed with Portal.

Poor Mel, Atlas and P-Body get all the love :(
Still, it would've been great or better if we had the option to switch from the bots to the humans in co-op (or at least have the chance to make our own teams from the four. Make that three if you don't bring Chell into the mix, though)

Well there IS hope for mel (i think) for her appearing in episode 3/half life 3, maybe gordon will meet her on the borealis

It's good to see others giving Mel love XD i've actually only found two or three Mel drawing done the way Valve originally planned her to look. This one is actually really good and I love how instead of just being scrapped by valve you had her left by GLaDOS too! I love it^_^ and I think Mel is awesome! She really does need more love, maybe then Valve will put her in a game for real ...

I just sort of love the idea of Mel being just forgotten and left behind in the depths of Aperture. Haha, that's make a great third one! Mel's escape from Aperture.

i'd be right there with ya. i have played portal 2 so many times T^T i really do hope theres a third XD portal had the greatest story ever and i personally love glados' tests
